VBA vs mGBA

Which do you prefer for GBA emulation and why?

I used to play a lot on Visual Boy Advance but recently I just happened to prefer mGBA for the options and accuracy (unless VBA got updated).

I'm also glad Mesen 2.0 is now GBA compatible.

VBA

It's nothing big, just got used to it when doing my save-state hacking stuff

It'll be hard for me to get used to another emu when we're talking about hex

mGBA seems to work well for me on my PC. Haven't tried it on weaker tech though, so VBA-M might be more feasible there.

mgba is the better emulator. better performance, more accurate, and I prefer the UI on PC. the only reason I ever use versions of VBA is that some romhacks simply won't run correctly on mgba.

mGBA has more features, but it doesn't have the filters I like.
Also, don't use the old VBA, use VBA-M.

I have nostalgia with VBA, but yeah, mGBA is just better.

I used VBA-M for a long time, but I finally switched to mGBA on newer devices. My old PC is still set up with VBA-M though and I like it just fine.

I changed from vba to mgba because rhythm heaven had insane input lag.

i do have nostalgia for vba yadayadayada mGBA is just better and Modern pokemon rom hacks don't work on VBA. only use VBA for old pokemon rom hacks.

I've had good mileage with VBA-M nighties, actually (they are constantly updated). I recommend Emerald Rogue.
