What do you mean for PC mostly? I can't find any game in that list which wasn't released for a console. Actually, some of them were released on console only and later were released on PC.

PC has tons of exclusive horror games. These are the ones I can recall I've played and enjoyed:

Penumbra series
Amnesia
Blair Witch Project series
Scratches
Nocturne

EDIT: It seems that Amnesia was released for consoles as well. The moment I played it the game was exclusive to PC, and it stayed like that for years.

nice list. leave a couple more:
the indie Dark Fall series it´s pretty good
The Last Crown
Asylum
Darkness Within
CoC Dark corners of the earth
Dracula series
Outcry
Sherlock Holmes The Awakened
Kona I & II
Fobia St Dinfna Hotel

The only game that managed to scare me: Silent Hill 4. I don't care about horror games but after Silent Hill 2 it's me favourite.

- Stories Untold is made of collection of stories but my favorite is the first story's horror. It was solid AF.

- WORLD OF HORROR is a decent indie horror game.

- The Evil Within is ok, I like the mood of the game. As for 2nd game, it felt flat and boring in a generic way more than the 1st game but especially because of cringe shit.

- Alan Wake 1 and 2 are games that something I would hesitate to recommend but when it comes to Alan Wake's American Nightmare it's fun in an arcade style.

- Among retro indie games my favourites: Murder House and Christmas Massacre.

- If you had like a hardcore mystery visual novel that has a horror route then I would strongly recommend Root Letter. It's not a sexual visual novel so its route logic is not about "dating with other characters", it's more like experiencing 5 different games in one that build upon the same core idea; so it has 1 parody route for comedy, 2 horror routes, and others are more like in logic of "what possible future you may experience so how this story may end" thingy. I don't care about visual novels but this is da real deal here.

these are elite recommendations, outcry and dark corners of the earth are both top 20 games of all time to me. Should I play the dark fall games before the last crown or the other way around? also, I really liked the first darkness within game is it worth playing the sequel?

For my own recommendations

Scratches: Directors cut
The Lurking Horror
Draugen

it means, in my post, i would include games that are on pc = pc ports included, i should had specified that part more

i know that most of them were originally, for consoles, but since most of the peeps, are on pc, i rec'd the pc editions

I’d definitely second bioshock, dead rising and deadly premonition. All excellent games.

also

as janky as yakuza dsouls was on ps3, i still want it to be ported on pc (aside the ps3 emulator version), mean that game, felt like a crazier dead rising spin off like game

kek
