• Early 90's pop punk (IE: bands like Screeching Weasel, Mr T Experience, The Queers or Squirtgun) is the best subgenre of punk.
• The Myspace/Scene-core era was way overly hated, and was a lot more interesting and experimental than any music critic will ever give it credit for being.
• Melody > Brutality when it comes to metal.
• Tuning your guitars to drop A doesn't automatically make your music heavy.
• If you can play three chords and convey an emotion or feeling to me through music, that is way more impressive to me than any technical prowess
