Underrated games...

Two PS2 games that I absolutely adore and didn't get the mainstream attention they deserved:

Dark Cloud 2 and Radiata Stories
 
Astyanax on nes Paladins Quest on snes Lufia & the Fortress of Doom on snes and Elemental Master on Sega Genesis, if you are a shmup fan Elemental Master is a must play.
