Unconventional Personal Favorite Movies

This movie isn't too well known or popular but I ended up liking it even above some of my other favorite movies. It's a sort of Isekai type movie about a boy with a gait disturbance who ends up in another world and becomes acquainted with anthropomorphic kung fu kangaroos representing the five chinese elements. So it's a kind of sentai with a TMNT/Never Ending Story sort of vibe...a mish mash of tried and true genres and tropes forming an odd combination. I liked it for personal reasons, because it sort of connected with a certain story I was working in my head at the time. I also just discovered the King of Fighters series back then and for some reason, the movie somehow got mixed in with that too mentally.

When Kung Fu Panda came out, I was amazed...the concept for it sounded quite similar to Warriors of Virtue but implemented much more cleverly than the latter. (Warriors of Virtue = Furious Five)

Unconventional?? Well I got allot of favorite movies I mean my IMDB I have around 21 lists with 100 movies each.

I love its 1st movie a lot. Never met a person who likes this movie and all my buddies and friends I told this movie about were like "how could you like such a movie *pukes*" lolol. They don't understand how I like the "irony" of a "superhero", how the movie realistically potrays society and makes fun of the world and stuff. Sure the realistic gore is an extra significant fun, the "controversial" scenes are "ewww" but the movie really made for my taste TBH yummy lol.
Most of my favorite movies are stuff like Kurosawa and Tarkovsky but then I also have this masterpiece up there lol.
