An Uncharted game, likely the Uncharted 1 remake, looks to be in development.

I believe to be the Uncharted remake because the photo seems to be related to pirates, and that time, and it meshes well with Uncharted 1's environments, and because, with Uncharted, Naughty Dog tried not to repeat itself too much, with pirates appearing only in Uncharted 1 and Uncharted 4, out of the 6 games. So, if an Uncharted game is really in development, it should be the Uncharted 1 remake.

Great another slop remake nobody asked for, and by modern naughty dog
Thanks but no thanks
surprised it's not another Last of Us remake

You'd think that with the overabundance of Remasters/Remakes and sequels that don't do much different than their predecessors, that they would tone them down a bit in favor of New fresh ideas. I guess we're in the Remakes era.

only Uncharted game I care about.

But then again thanks to Neil fuckman my love for the 3 first uncharted games died with does 3 games.
I hope a piano falls on his head.

I don't know how big Naughty Dog is but they should be working on Intergalactic now, right? So if this is real, then its probably being made by some outsourse studio. So not only nobody asked for this, but it also has a big chance to be a buggy mess on release. Not that I care though, just thinking out loud.

I don't think so. Druckmann said in some interview that there was another game in development at ND, besides Intergalactic. One that, this time, he was not directing. I thought that this was him antecipating lackluster sales for Intergalactic and Sony chopping his head. That one game may be the remake of Uncharted 1.

I hope it won't be a live service game filled with micro transactions and AI.

Nah son, if Neil Cuckman's involved, that's an automatic out for me.

I am like Uncharted, but I see no point with a remake when the remasters are already available. The first game is still good. I will wait and see, but I have 0 interests. Doesn't matter if it's an actual new title or a remake.

The first game is very combat heavy and the combat is mediocre, making quite a slog through much of the game. The first game could really benefit from a better balance between combat and non-combat portions.

The combat is not perfect, but it never bothered me much, nor do I consider it mediocre. Just fine and gets the job done enough. Honestly, the combat in Uncharted 3 was more of a slog for me. Now on Brutal difficulty, good luck with that, but it's a problem all three games share, and why I prefer actual health meters. So we're clear, I played the Remastered Trilogy which fixes a few things and assigns grenades to an actual button for the first game, and not motion control gimmick. Hence why a remake to the first game I find pointless.

The combat not being perfect and being around 80-90% of the first game is a problem. It has few moments where the characters are just exploring and messing with each other. Most of the game is going from skirmish to skirmish. And it grows pretty tedious.

And it grows pretty tedious.
To you. Look, I am not even a hardcore fan of the franchise, and even I feel a remake to any of these is not needed. Especially with the first game having that polished up remaster. Besides, Uncharted 2 is just a better version of the first game, so a remake in this case is even more pointless. Not worth the $70-$90+ for marginally better shooting.

The combat in the first game I like, but again, but the flaws ain't worth remaking when the remaster already exist. If it happens, I am not going to blow gasket, but I won't be invested when I can get the trilogy for cheap again, and stick with that. What I do like about the original's combat is that doing melee finishers or combos nets you extra ammo for whatever gun you have equipped. This gameplay mechanic is never brought back again. UC1 is simple, yet effective, and still fun for the most part.

I admit that I really don't like cover shooters, but at least the UC franchise usually knew how to mix up the combat, platforming, and exploration. Because the only other cover shooters I care about are Vanquish, Bulletstorm, and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. All three of those I've played way more than any Uncharted game, aside from Gunslinger.

I agree with Seraphim17 on this. Time stamped on both videos.

The Uncharted games are pretty dope, but if they do another UC game (and frankly I hope they aren't) I desperately hope it has nothing to do with Drake. Let the bulk of that main cast stay gone, their stories ended so brilliantly and there is just no reason to dig them back out again, there's no justifying it at this point.

The UC games are the rare instance where being fairly barebones games didn't bug me much. The setpieces and characters were so enjoyable to witness that I didn't mind a fairly unambitious combat system to go along with them. If they give me a new cast then I'll be there day 1.

Cuckman will be the end of Naughty dog
When intergalactic flops instead of removing Cuckman Sony going to axe the whole studio

Also it doesn't matter if he involved in remake or not, most likely going to overseer it or force his changes anyway
Uncharted is okay games when it comes to gameplay, the reason people like them is because of story and characters
You know modern Sony and Druckman can't write characters especially females, i can already see how they going to make Drake a loser and remove all his witty comments and Elena some sort of obnoxious "girlsboss"

Shooting in Uncharted is fine and remaking the whole game just to "fix" some of it is stupid because they most likely going to ruin everything else

Let's have some class and not use "Cuckman" as an insult. I am not coming to the defense of the egotistical dumb ass, but I refuse to use the language of grifters, sexist butt fucks, fake fans, and haters with way too much baggage on their shoulders, and have nothing else going on for them personality wise, by hating on anything he does making their entire personality.

Druckman I don't like either, but I'm above such things. If it makes some of you feel any better, even Hollywood doesn't care for the man. He's somewhat aware of it, but can't handle that truth.

As for Intergalactic, I have some interests, but I'm not gonna make a full opinion until I see actual gameplay. I made it a rule a way long time ago, to not be hyped until I see real footage of gameplay.

"Let's have some class and not use an insult"
"btw if you use this word you are buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword"
Amazing

Your are not exactly being mature here. Once again, not coming to the defense of the dumbass at all, nor is disliking the guy an issue, but it's called having standards. Also, I'm not exactly wrong with a lot of them were doing that, and mainly caught on quickly after TLOUS2 released. I care nothing for that game either, but there are people who went way too far or started harassing voice actors for doing their job or for them being female.

Calling every person who made 'Cuckman' joke some sort of evil grifter sexist or whatever, but i guess this is what "having standards" is according to you

I didn't say every person nor imply it. That is you assuming and projecting. And yes, there are people who used it that aren't part of that group, but they still either dance to that group's tune (getting them what they want either way), just joining in for a bandwagon effect, or to feel special. Most people who use that term sound like try hards trying to impress their alcoholic abusive father by being an asshole who thinks or convince themselves that they're good or decent people.

The "joke" got old real fast, and I didn't like it to begin with. Though now we're getting off topic, io I'll end it here and let you stew in your own little self misery. Using said joke doesn't make any person smarter ot clever. You're just copying fuckwads who didn't have an original thought in their body, or thought they were being 'clever' to begin with, when these are grown ass adults with the minds of 'edg' teenagers. So be proud of that, if you wish.

Back on point: I will believe it when I actually see it. Right now all we got are rumors and asanine speculations. I've got much bigger concerns and gaming concerns to be worried about, than i'll possibly non existant game or remake.
