ai programs scour the internet for any and all information to use. they go through every website and take in all of the art that isn't sectioned off from ai. on deviantart you can checkmark a box on whether or not ai can look at your art. i don't know if other sites do this or not.
you probably don't browse art websites, but i do. it is
very,
very common for females to be drawn very well endowed and curvy enough to make jessica rabbit, ivy valentine and cattleya from queen's blade to look like toothpicks in comparison.
and freya has quite a large fanbase, and a lot of fanart on deviantart. so, yeah, her looking like she does makes sense.
everyone did look quite off except for kuja. he looked like i would expect square enix to make him look like. zidane bore to much of a resemblance to cloud; i didn't like that. beatrix looked fantastic like she did in the original game, but she always looks good.
and, funnily enough, garnet is not supposed to have a large chest. she's more known for have a large rear end. she's the only female that i've seen the artist for the official artwork, Yoshitaka Amano, ever draw with noticeable curves, and that's where he chose to draw her being curvy.
