TV Series Twisted Metal TV Show (2023) Discussion

Beings that I did watch all episodes of the Twisted Metal TV show last year, I thought it was good, though my favorite parts were when Sweet Tooth was on screen. I do plan to watch Season 2 of it whenever it airs.

Did any of you also watch the first season, if so what did you think of it? Do you also plan to watch it's second season when it airs?

The trailers looked campy and underwhelming, so of course I watched it anyways.

Ya know, it's weird, the action and comedy weren't much, and I thought of ditching it. Then comes the episode where the leads are sheltering in place together, and get to know one another better...

...and fuck if they don't fucking nail the romance?! Absolutely last thing I expected was to genuinely be rooting for the main characters relationship together, but there I go cheering. Brought the second half of season one together to a decent finish, has me a little interested in a second season.

(It does commit the same crime as Mortal Kombat though, portraying the "build-up" to the titular tournament instead of giving us the actual interesting part.)

There is no way we'll see the Twisted Metal vehicle combat tournament on screen.

Michael Bay directed Transformers movies. He would not touch Twisted Metal.
