Barry

It's a show that's about a hitman who decides he wants to become an actor. This show does a great job seamlessly having dramatic moments and then having them be comedic the next or vice versa. The show is both gripping and hilarious to watch.

Check out this comedy show, Vice Principals. Stars Danny McBride and Walton Goggins as two assist high school principals who can't stand one another team up to get the new principle fired. Worth watching. Lasted 2 seasons, with the story wrapping up for the finale. McBride and staff from Eastbound and Down (if no one brings it up, I'll post it later, good one too) did this series as well.

Vice Principals is insanely funny... One of those shows where you have to rewind to catch a joke you missed because you were still laughing from the last bit.

Along the same lines (a lot of the same people), The Righteous Gemstones is also very good.

I've been watching Babylon 5 on my way to work. it's pretty solid so far.
Favorite character so far? I'm not usually into multi-season sci-fi shows, B5 is the only one I ever finished, which was like 2 years ago, loved it. Londo might be my favorite overall but everyone has their moments.

Also was shocked to see Robin Atkin Downes in the last season lol, kept thinking of Travis Touchdown, Medic, and Kaz.

OK, y'all.... Im coming at ya with a comedy show from Canada. A spin off of Letterkenny, Shoresy. This spin off follows the hockey player Shoresy as he's left small town Letterkenny to play up north with his new team and the shit they get into. If you've seen Letterkenny clips, you'll know Shoresy is a master with insults. Currently 4 seasons, mid way though latest season myself. I find the comedy here a bit better than Letterkenny as I felt it went a couple of seasons longer than it should have.

Scrubs is one of the best tv shows out there. Episodes could go from making me laugh out loud to crying like a baby in a matter of minutes. Despite the variety of tones and subjects within the episodes it all remains consistent. All the main actors are great and play off of each other fantastically.

Red Dwarf is a classic. A slacker, a bootlicker, a demure and dorky robot, and a flamboyant mutant catman drift through the reaches of space trying to reach Earth. Its all episodic, but great fun. Each episode takes a sci fi concept or a comedic concept and runs with it until the creators have had their fun. All four leads play well off of each other and bring the events to life in a believable way which helps sell the crazy sci fi concepts and at times so-so visual effects.

This one is a little harder to reccomend as some people don't like Tokusatsu (Japanese special effects film-making for the uninitiated. Think Godzilla or Power Rangers). But I love Kamen Rider Kuuga. Pure-hearted and dim-witted slacker Yusuke Godai finds himself embroiled in an ancient battle to save humanity from blood-thirsty shapeshifting monsters. Armed with the ancient belt of the Rider he must become Kuuga, however this may cost him his pure soul. Kamen Rider Kuuga is pretty typical for a show like this there's a monster of the week in each episode that gradually moves the villains ultimate goal forward bit by bit, Yusuke learns new abilities, and the day is saved. But what makes it special in my eyes is the contrast of the simple goodness of Yusuke, who fights so no one has to cry, and the depraved darkness of his ancient enemies set on bringing about the end of days with hundreds of blood sacrifices. Yusuke does his best to outshine the darkness, but even he succumbs to despair. Yet, he always gets back up to fight.

Can you still remember which TV series was your first?
My first TV series was The Wonder Years from the year 1988 .The series had 6 seasons and ran until 1993.

Not sure what tv show was my first but the first i remember leaving an impact on me was Xfiles. As a kid that show scared the sh!t out if me. I still remember the first episode i ever saw late at night with my parents. The episode involved a ghost ship. I remember being on edge the entire time 😅

I'll presume I need to watch the whole thing as a requirement. If we're counting anime, Death Note. If not, Life on Mars I think.

Caillou, I think, if we’re talking live action then Breaking Bad.
Yeah Breaking Bad is good.

Death Note yes, that tells me something. It's just a shame that there was only two season.

I would say UFO Robot Grendizer, Goldorak in French around 3 July 1978, fun fact...it's still one of the best serie.
