How did they get the rights to use the red cross symbol anyway?

Either it's not similar enough (it has a pretty heavy gradient) or as I recall the red cross only goes after games which has problematic use of the symbol. Trauma Center is very much a game of being a doctor and saving lives so they'd be fine with it.

Why can't the US cover use the original JP art like the PAL version? it feels like a bootleg, like they don't own the rights to their own game art. This is some next level borderline sabotage stupid shit.
