I played the SNES version a lot since I was a kid, and recently I made a video about all Genesis/MD racing games and got really excited about this version.

The gameplay is better and the soundtrack has that yamaha chip sound that's so characteristic of the Mega Drive.

Also, the first two Top Gear games are just evolutions of the older Lotus Challenge games that were released on the Amiga by Kemco. Some audio tracks composed by Barry Leich are even the same in both games.

I didnt know this existed on genesis, finished all 3 games on SNES, i even remember the password for the final tracks of Top Gear 1: HORIZON. :)

It is a considerable version considering the visual sacrifices it had and as well as the inability to reproduce music and sound at the same time in the middle of in-game and also that it has a better frame rate than in the SNES version but hey.
