It's not better than the PS1, DC or PC versions, but for being the first Tony Hawk game for the Nintendo 64, it doesn't look bad because it can be played at least, but the problem is that it had sacrifices in the visual (especially in the Background Stage) and sound field (Very Compressed) that feel inferior compared to the PS1, DC and PC versions. And it's also because of the limitations of the N64's cartridge storage size, which was only 32MB (10.25MB/10.27MB compressed in .7z).
