Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 announced

Seems like it's being handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, a company that has done many remasters and ports and the like in the past.
THPS3 and THPS4 are the only games in the series I have any experience with, so I'm kinda curious about this one!

I'm skeptical but optimistic, if it's the same quality as THPS 1+2 i'll be a happy man, the trailer looks good and it seems like it plays the same as THPS 1+2 but they could still fuck it up somehow.

Apparently the digital deluxe version gives you DLC that inexplicably lets you play as the Doom Slayer and the Revenant from Doom, which is delightfully silly I think!

I'll never get tired of the meme of the Revenant tooting his trumpet no matter how much Bethesda overuses it. It's scummy that it's a DLC but i was expecting Doom guy to be completely cut so it's better than nothing.

I'm just happy to be getting a new THPS game tbqh, I don't even care if it's a remake. Last time Activision tried making a non remake game it was horrid so i'd rather have them stick with remaking the Neversoft games rather than trying something new.

I mean hey, the THPS games are pretty well loved and pretty much never get re-released because of licensing, so any time they actually do this is something to be celebrated.
