May as well throw my hat in, just know I ain't answering anything incriminating or too personal, dig?

I'm a long-time Archivist who's been emulating since '02 (my high school days were filled with people asking "How in the hell?" and I even got a few of the faculty in on the fun), and have more or less dedicated myself to the cause of digital preservation of gaming's past.

Go buck wild, I suppose, I'll answer what I can, when I can.

Going strictly into older games, that's a tricky one to answer, 'cause I can't really narrow it down to just one...I have more of a broad range of games I feel nostalgia towards, and enjoy playing, however.

Famicom - Kyatto Ninden Teyandee / Getsu Fuma Den / Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffitti

Your most hated game dev/publisher?
In the West - it's a hard tossup between EA, Ubisoft, and Gearbox, but that last one is more of a personal vendetta against its showrunner.

EA is known as the studio killer, taking well-established names under their wing, then quietly gutting their franchises, and taking them out behind the woodshed, ol' yeller-style (see: Westwood, Bullfrog, etc.), while Ubisoft...honestly, feels like something tore the guts out of their company and is now wearing its skin like an ill-fitting suit.

In the East, it's another tossup, but between Greed and being a shithole Litigant.
See: Konami and Nintendo.

Konami whores out their IPs to studios that don't know what the fuck they're doing (See: Silent Hill for the last god knows how many years), while Nintendo sics their litigation hounds on anyone trying so much as to preserve a hint of what they built decades ago...or anyone daring to take their aging mold, and making something successful out of it.
