as you can see I'm a 8th grader going to 9th does any one have any tip that's not the basic "get good grades" and "don't try to fit in, be yourself" i know the basic on how to "survive"but any tips for thriving in high school?
for the push up thing I'm cooked (I can barely do 5???)I went to high school for 2 weeks and was too stressed out i went back to home-schooling, then got my GED at 16. So this is general advice.
I suppose, the biggest thing is to avoid drama, in relationships and overall.
Don't be afraid to fight back if pushed/confronted; If you don't resist or fight back you are far more likely to become a bullying target instead.
Keep your dick in your pants (or if you're a girl, don't sleep around). Don't accept ultimatums.
If anything is world shattering and you get super depressed, remember it will pass. Have friends you can trust. Hopefully your parents too.
Set a schedule for when you sleep/wakeup. It will be easier to get proper rest if you have a rhythm.
Try to incorporate exercise to your daily routine. Walk/jog to school. Wakeup and do 20-30 pushups/situps. At first you may get sore, push through it. After 1-2 weeks it will go away and you'll be able to increase it. ;) Your welcome.
Try not to eat junk or pre-processed food. You might have to learn to cook.
While you should study, make some personal time for yourself to have some fun too.
I'd second Sayo's reply.I don't know dude, maybe try asking on some other site where the average user is a bit younger.
If you can't do pushups, do planks. They work your body's core and helps strengthen the same muscles that pushups would. There's app out there, like "Plank Workout" that can guide you through a series of plank exercises.for the push up thing I'm cooked (I can barely do 5???)
RGT is my clubBest advice I can give you is don't take sides on other people's battles / don't join a fight if you don't gain anything by winning. Mostly avoid drama, focus on your studies and try to find something that interests you -- join a fun club (or not). As long as you aren't dreading waking up each day, I'd say you are doing good.

Yeah, going to Side with @Sayo here. I Would imagine alot of us have been out of School long enough that the General Rules have changed.I don't know dude, maybe try asking on some other site where the average user is a bit younger.
I think they are right by asking us, since we all have had the experience and are enough removed from it to judge it fairly, no embellishments nor scars. That's just my opinion, though.I don't know dude, maybe try asking on some other site where the average user is a bit younger.
