thoughts on PC-98 games?

I saw something online regarding pc98 games and thought they were interesting then I saw it has it's own version of Shin Megami Tensei and it intrigued me. As someone new to this things what games do you guys recommend?
I kinda like the anime art style of that era.

A lot of them seem like porn games, visual novels or dungeon crawlers. I briefly tried the Shin Megami Tensei game. It's not made by Atlus and it's unrelated to the other games. It's a different adaptation of the book that the other Shin Megami Tensei games are based on. It seemed kind of meh. It's sort of clunky even compared to the snes game and reviews I saw for the game were meh.

E.V.O. on SNES has a prequel only for PC-98, that's more an RPG and less an ARPG. That's the first game I'm trying on my new unit as it's been English translated!

There are a fair amount of good games. I think it has some shooters even.

And Star Cruiser II sounds really cool (also translated).

PC98 has one of the most detailed, genius and beautiful pixel art you'll ever find, and then you will see the cutest and prettiest anime girl, in the most creepy, traumatic and horrific H scene ever seconds later, if you are into VN Jasp has ported and translated officially some of those games to be played on your browser, be aware some has NSFW stuff, for my recommendation the legend of heroes is a great pick or follow the basement brothers channel, they have good insight on games from PC88 and PC98 games, i'll leave you the links

Thanks for the resources I'm going to look them up. PC98 is a whole new world for me and the more obscure it gets the more it interest me lol. But I think I'm gonna be careful when it comes to NSFW games.
