Lady & The Tramp II is a very interesting one for me because I only found out about it through my site's movie trivia game (which I had tried to bring over here, but it failed to launch) in which someone posted a screenshot from the film and someone else correctly guessed it, after which they went on a mini discussion about how fun and underrated the whole thing was... All while I was just "standing" there thinking something along the lines of: "Wait a minute... that looks fucking awesome" XD.

While I did think that the movie had quite the generic villain, I still maintain that it's way better than it has any right to be -- there's something about the way it was crafted, paced and directed that just worked, kinda like Disney's very own "Oliver & Company", but actually done right (and definitely much better than any Direct-To-Video sequel should be).

What do you think?

Most of the straight to DVD sequels I either don't like or don't care. This film I thought was okay, but I was 11 at the time. I have not touched it since then. The only sequels I care about are Lion King 2, both Aladdin sequels, and An Extremely Goofy Movie.

I did enjoy this movie although I prefer one because I like Tramp but in two I can where he come after being traumatized being capture by Dog pound this why he is stirct on Scamp.

It's...forgettable and it's probably just me, conflicts with previous material.

When I was a kid, I was weaned on reprints on Dell and Gold Key Disney comics. Scamp was a featured character in shorts and even had his own comic series. He also appeared in newspaper comic strips. He seems...different in the movie and conflicts with some of my memories. I think my problem was...at least in my head...why would he look for that much adventure when he already had all that and more (in the comic)?

I know neither story is connected but I can't decouple the two mentally due to the amount of material I internalized.

Never seen it but I watched the first one a lot when I was a youngin', I'm going to go out on a limb and guess this is a straight to video sequel?

WHAT?! theres a Lady and the Tramp 2? doesnt that destroy the romance of the first doggy couple?.. oh wait, I guess it could be a new doggy couple and exploring their ongoing romance in the world they are in.. oh wait.. WHY do I care? naw.. Im sorry.. I do think its funny though that I had zero idea there was a Lady and the Tramp 2.. oh well, everybody have fun with the things you enjoy.. furry weirdos.. naw, Im joking.. enjoy what you like.. I for one am that guy who loves those giant, jiggle physics endowed, anime/ video game tata's, especially if they are maids, witches, nurses, or kunoichi.. to each their own............................ but wait, there is a Lady and the Tramp 2? I guess when I go to my 80 year old moms place to handle her business and take care of her, I need to tell her..

I think the big issue about those DVD sequels is that they got the number 2 or 3 in their titles when they could also just be named differently...

Alas, Disney wanted to make kid feel like they're seeing something on the same level as the Classics without having to go to the cinema.

And now we're seeing numbered sequels in Cinemas (even if some are above the quality of the DVD ones)... I would've been fine if Frozen II, Ralph 2.0 and Zootopia 2 were all VOD-exclusives.

having watched all of the Disney video movie sequels, I'd rank it somewhere in the middle .Certainly not better than the original.

Animation-wise it was not as great either.

Top animation quality was featured only in Lion King 2 and 1.5 and 101 Dalmatians : Patch's London Adventure that looked almost cinematic.

I'd also rank Aladdin 2&3, Cinderella 3, Leroy and Stitch, Return to Never land, Beauty and the Beast :an enchanted Christmas, Bambi 2, Mulan 2 and Little Mermaid 2 above Lady and the Tramp 2

I chose not to see any of those either. I still haven't seen the first Frozen. I did see Incredibles II, and what a lazy sequel that is. Animation aside. At least Toy Story 4 did something different. I heard Zootopia 2 is good though, but I am not exactly interested.

Well, the first one is not that great (narrative wise) either. (It has very good animation still). Tbh this already helps this movie.
Hunchback 2 is really trashy, and it looks much worse next to the original.

Decades? I mean one and a half for sure but mid to late 2000's was fine.

I was disappointed by Ralph's sequel for going against some principles from the first.

I think Zootopia would have benefited from a series than another movie and I'd say that making it chronologically several weeks after the first wasn't the brightest idea.

Toy Story also overstayed its welcome after the conclusion of 3.

Fortunately there is Bonkers for that type of cartoon comedy
