I don't know if you guys have ever heard about a movie called 'Zero Day'? It's largely based on real events, it's shot on the 'found footage' style, and it's honestly pretty good.

If you DO watch it (which you honestly should), you'd notice that there's a bit of a wild jump between the dates on the 'tapes'... And that's because an entire scene was axed shortly after release and was removed entirely from subsequent copies made (seriously, I have been told that it's not even on the DVD extras, causing copies that still do have it to command outrageous prices).

This scene was an honest-to-god, step-by-step tutorial on how to make a weapon. It should thus come as a no-brainer that it was removed, but it also raises two serious questions:

1) How in the HELL was it movie allowed to ship and release with that scene on in the first place, especially when it was based on real, traumatic events?

2) Why was this the line they drew when a second - albeit, much tamer - tutorial was kept in?

The more I think about it, the weirder it becomes.

So, yeah... Thoughts?

omg i love that movie, but i never knew abt that deleted scene, the only scene i remember being removed was the cal and andre kiss
