Thoughts of the new Raidou Kuzunoha Soulless Army Remaster?

This kind of just came out of no where but, Raido remaster!! Thought it'd be fitting to put in here since its a remaster of a ps2 game, and i wanted to hear what you guys thought.

Im not sure entirely what to think of it, the graphics are good for a switch game but its getting put on every platform, voice acting and cutscenes look amazing though.

Something about it looks kinda off to me, like there's a certain quality to the original art style that's not quite being captured in the newer graphics. Maybe it's just me being a boomer for PS2 era graphics. I guess it's nice to see some acknowledgement for forgotten SMT side games at all, I'd like to see the Digital Devil Saga duology make a comeback next.

Gameplay changes look pretty cool, we get actual combos and air stuff now though I will say the HUD looks really lame, your usual minimalist floating bars with nothing extra. I suppose they could've went too far and persona-fied it to hell and back too, so pick your poison.

My only worries for these remasters is that it ends up with more bugs then you'd expect and a bad soundtrack conversion like nocturns remaster

I'm a pretty big fan of that first person isometric dungeon crawler perspective that they used in the older MegaTen games, it's part of why I liked Strange Journey so much : ]

I agree! but 1 and If would be amazing. A collection like Etrian Odyssey would be ideal.
