Now that the bubble has fizzled and Blue is seen as no more than just Another cartoon for kids, ¿What are your honest thoughts on the show?

Honestly is a show i tend to watch ocassionally, yup, the writing may not be that original aside of those "Temas serios" the show touches, but is surprinsingly pretty solid and not "HELLOKIDSLETMETEACHYOUHOWTOCOUNT" as many competitors, the fact that the parents are in fact functionally thinking gave me a glimmer of hope the show was not going to be a wreck, not a huge fan (Considering what they do *shivers* not a bad thing et all) but i still have some of it, like taking a break of cooking and having cup ramen

I like it. I got kids so I end up seeing it a lot. It's actually a pretty great show. Not something i just turn on to watch by myself though

I grew up with a different blue dog

Only had heard of bluey about a year or so ago, and never saw what bluey looked like until maybe 6 months or so ago. So I guess I missed whatever the party was

Ive heard alot of people have been watching it as a way to heal their inner child, given how the parents are kinda epic in that show.
but i will say i DIED when i came across this clip on shorts. i swear to GOD the way the music just STOPS

It's cute, and I like that it doesn't really talk down to kids. I don't really get the hype, though. It seems fairly standard. Very watchable, though.

Well, I've known about it since it's inception, it's a very well known IP in a certain fandom I am obviously a part of. x) Never seen it myself though. I've heard it's a good, wholesome show from those I know who have seen it. It looks cute for sure, but I can't see myself watching it anytime soon. I'd do it if I had someone to watch it with though, like my ex and I watching My Little Pony together. That show wasn't really my thing, but it had some fun moments. I will never get over the very direct reference to The Big Lebowski, that is a good parental bonus!

Here are mine:

Bandit best fiction parent
Aunt brandy deserves a child
Muffin isn't half as bad as critics paint her, heck, she is ONLY 2 YEARS OLD

All I know about Bluey is that SexuaLobster/GreasyTales is an animator on the show, and I love his youtube videos

It's a good show but not for me probably. It's likely much nicer if you have kids to watch it with.

its a all around subpar and forgettable kids show, that a lot of really weird adult reeeeally latch on, so i sadly see it everywhere.

Im 100 percent obsessed with Australians in any form these days. Especially YOLO Crystal Fantasy m8t

edit: i could have said the C word but i didnt

edit x2: the C word is caunt

It’s good, very easy to binge but it’s not my type of cartoon.

My old man puts it on for his grandkids, watches it with them and has occasionally been brought to tears. He usually reserves that sort of emotion for Field of Dreams, so I guess it's got some juice.

My friend is obsessed with this show and I tag along sometimes as she watches it. It has a lot more merit and substance than I thought it would.

I heard it's the only genuinely good modern kids show

It's a cute, charming show that sneaks in occasional emotional gut punches to adults that are paying attention. I watched so I could talk to my nieces and nephews about it but have ended up being a fan of the show as a childless adult. It's animated well with a lot of love and attention to detail and almost every story line feels personalized. I don't think there's a single bland episode.
