Those Games You Play When You Don't Know What Else To Play

For a while now, I've been in one of those moods where I can't settle on one game to just sit down and play. I was getting into Hitman Blood Money not too long ago, but now I don't really feel like playing it, so I just find myself going back to the same old games. For me, the main ones are FIFA, Battlefield 1 and Victoria 2. This past week, though, I can't even focus on any of those. Victoria 2 is one of my favourite games of all time, but I can't get into a proper campaign. I can play a match or two of FIFA, but then I go to my laptop and start fiddling around with emulators.

So, what are some of your go to games? When you want to play something, but don't have anything else in mind. That game you can play no matter what mood you're in. Hopefully I'll be able to find something that can pull me out this slump!

I mostly play old classics that don't require a lot of thought, like MLB2K10, ISSD or Test Drive Unlimited. I also play some Pokemon when I feel like roaming around.

And, of course, there's GTA: Vice City.

Ok the main problem I have is that the games I play when I don't know what else to play are all mobile games.

But if I had to pick an actual console game, it's Gundam Extreme VS Maxi Boost On. It's my go-to if I just want to turn off my brain and have fun. Just do non-online Versus, set both stock bars to max, set the timer to infinite, and have all the units be set to random and that will make me shut up for hours.

Ok the main problem I have is that the games I play when I don't know what else to play are all mobile games.

I actually quite like mobile games. I feel kind of dumb when I spend too much time on them, but it's definitely better than just scrolling Instagram for hours xD

I'll usually boot up Halo CE's campaign or MCC's multiplayer if I can't quite decide what to play. Halo CE has a sort of sandbox vibe that just lets me load up whatever mission I want and just fuck around.

GTA Vice City or any of the original 3D GTA trilogy for me there’s nothing like creating havoc to set the mood for whatever game I plan to play next.

nowadays i also include tony hawk pro skater 1+2, fortnite festival and osu

COD Zombies maybe it's pretty fun when I just want to play something and not have to worry about the things that usually annoy me
