so i've been just vegetating the last few days and watching a lot of fgc youtube; i don't interact much with the "mainstream" guys in this space and what they post but titles like these are a reminder of why that is the case
look i know what clickbait is and that you gotta build up hype for what you're gonna talk about and the meta you gotta play in the algorithm but like on the other hand can you even guess which game this is in reference to without looking it up?
for clarity, the video itself is fine and not like too negative to the genre although there are bits i disagree with
this example isn't as extreme as others (like pre-release 2xko) but it does come off as like putting everything else down just to prop up the subject of the video
these games are all cool in unique ways that don't really work with direct comparisons (to me anyways), so it's kind of just a disservice to the game and community to talk about games in such a black-and-white fashion
