just look at it. look at the backgrounds being all hand crafted in pixel art this is when gaming was truly gaming guys:

I mean look at the backgrounds the mountains the movement of characters. rug maker doesn't this bro. like even the game the mature theme of it they dont make em like this anymore.

even the hair its all painstaking done by hand.

I guess, i mean other games of its time did the same. Doesn't look any different.

This looks like every other JRPGs on the console at the time, I'm kind of perplexed why exactly this title. You could pull a random title out of a hat, and the background would be the same quality, if not better. I'll do it now:

Always happy to see Emerald Dragon get showcased.

kids no matter what they say they used to make em better back in the day.

I played this game before on the Sega genesis classics collection for the switch, pretty good game and it’s really fun, I need to play it more

desnit look better than ff6 doe?
It looks about as good as anything from the 16-bit era. It reminds me a lot of Tactics Ogre, honestly.

Ow, my old age >_<

FEDA looks a lot like Shining Force. The battle scenes look especially beautiful, but it's nothing above the norm for the era.
