Cool news. I suck at stealth games and as such I don't really care about the Thief series but every time an effort is made to preserve an old game a retro angel gets its wings.

Awesome! Never actually beat Thief— only played it recently though. It's honestly a really fun game if you like stealth (which I do) and once you get past some awkward controls, but my main issue with it was just the level design. Levels like The Thieves Guild or the Lost City (or something like that lol) and a couple of others were just very mazey and not fun at all that I ended up dropping it on one of these levels because I was just not having any fun. Unfortunate, honestly, since there were some really really great levels too. I hear Thief 2 is a bit better in that regard.

I hate how you have to hit the guards at just the right angle in the back of there heads or else it doesn't count of knocking them out. Always pissing me off when it doesn't registers.
