It is astounding to me that, assuming this game releases before 2027, there will have been a ten year period, in this century, with THREE new Bubsy games. Who is buying this shit? Bubsy was never good. Not even in the 16-bit era. People like to say opioids and meth are dangerous, and I want you to consider maybe nostalgia is the most dangerous drug of all. Just say no to nostalgia.

Even bad games carry nostalgia. Someone spent money and time to port Plumbers Don't Wear Ties to modern consoles, even if only for the lulz. Crazy that this thing gets a redemption now that other ACTUAL iconic and important platformer characters are pretty much gone since almost the last decade.

If someone tries to say that Mega Man is in good shape right now this completely proves otherwise because only in this timeline freaking Bubsy gets a better treatment.

Nah I'm with you. I absolutely hated Bubsy, but I will give it a fair shot. I by no means will be paying for it, but I’ll give it a fair shot. And if by some unholy miracle from the seventh circle of hell happened because the planets aligned, Cthulhu sneezed, and the omniverse-destroying god of time, Mickey the Termite, decided he wants a grape soda instead of a Sprite, I’ll buy it.
