only way to play games on touch controls is with a tablet, anything else is suffering. On a phone with touchscreen controls.

Didn't the old iOS port say hold my beer? The 2007 PC Port of Resident Evil 4
The “Definitive Editions” of the GTA Trilogy
The 3DO Version of Doom
The Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1
The DS version of the King Kong game
Silent Hill HD Collection
Xbox 360 ports of PS4/Xbox One games
The PS3 version of the Orange Box
The OG Xbox version of MGS2 Subsistence
The XB360/PS3 versions of San Andreas
I actually first played it on PS2 and was blown away at the graphics. I mean compared to the GC original it is definitely noticably inferior but considering the PS2's inferior hardware and different architecture I would say its a relatively impressive port and there are much worse versions of the game.I think i'm going to add RE4 on PS2 as well.
Yeah fair point, I had the GC version first, beat that, then I got PS2 version here in the UK, had an offer with steelbook and extra in-game content as we all know, so naturally thought 'hell yeah' then i played it and then went 'hell no'Didn't the old iOS port say hold my beer?

True it is the worst of the mainstream ports aside from the first PC port which I never played.Yeah fair point, I had the GC version first, beat that, then I got PS2 version here in the UK, had an offer with steelbook and extra in-game content as we all know, so naturally thought 'hell yeah' then i played it and then went 'hell no'
But each to their own, I think this is the worst version to play vs the other ports i have played though.
Yup, it's still a good game on PS2, just one of the weakest tis all.True it is the worst of the mainstream ports aside from the first PC port which I never played.
I rank the versions I played.
GC> 360/PS3> XboxOne/PS4 (aiming felt off in this one) > PS2 (still a good time)
The GC version of RE4 is a masterpiece that rivals Xbox 360/PS3 games with its fidelity.

I played Megaman 2 on an LG Chocolate, I'd argue that's a worse experience on mobile. On a phone with touchscreen controls.
I was gifted Bayonetta on the ps3 for my 15th bday, it's been since my point of reference for bad ports:
-It runs at like 30-40 during compat, every time I throw a punch and some effect happens, like the angels lose their armor, the game chugs. Which is quite a pickle for an action game. Witch time can make you drop inputs even more, so can all the other levelòs with extra special effects or changing terrain (level 4 is strangling the ps3)
-Ever heard of a game having to Load when you switch inventory tab? Now you have. Especially when you open and close the bestiary
-it has to load to fucking pause the game

I'm a ps2 fanboy; playing RE4 with anything other than the gc controller (or a wiimote) feels weird to me.
Shame most people dont know the wii version supports the gc pad, you unlock it in a weird way, you gotta start with the wiimote+nunchuch, and then Detatch the nunch. It's not a setting in the menu; I guess this way they didnt have to change how the options screen looks..
It sure is a pain if you like carrying around a modded wii+gc pads
The iOS and Zeebo versions of RE4 are pretty different to most other versions. Both iOS and Zeebo versions are still terrible though.Didn't the old iOS port say hold my beer?

Rip chinese butcher
If you're not playing it on a crt it looks pretty drab.Wii version was actually pretty awesome. First run through, motion controls (aiming/reload was fun) then switched to GC controller for sure after that.
Last year I actually went back to my Wii to mess around with RE4 but for whatever reason it was painful to play, guess its the super washed out visual presentation on my TV after all these years.
