The Stupidest Games in your Collection

These Dumb wii racing games, Myth Makers, my friend in college forced into my bag cause he wanted out of his house, and M&M's Kart, my grandma gave me when I was a wee child.
M&M's kart racing is no good. Never played Myth Makers, it lives on my shelf as a paperweight.

I own a lot of "unpopular" games (mainly RPGs and/or titles from Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2 or Nintendo DS). That said, I gave up on this collection a long time ago since I hardly buy physical games anymore.

The dumbest game I own? Easy:

I keep it around, mainly, to troll my fellow oldhead friends. Everyone I knew thought the idea behind this game was stupid as s*** - even those of us obsessed with the NBA back in the 90s. But, sometimes, you just want to bust out a bad game with the buds. And it does make me smile every time I see it

Honorable mention goes to this one:

I don't even like Mötley Crüe! But I love pinball?? And, really, the 16-Bit renditions of the Crüe tunes in the game are pretty well-done. My wife **HATES** this one and won't let me play it when she's around - which also makes it that much more fun to keep on the shelf

Box Office bust is so bad. I bought it to complete my Larry collection and hoped I could find something in it to like.
I did not.
I have Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge on both Dreamcast and PS1 for some reason I don't actually remember. I also have two copies of Shadowrun on Genesis because I forgot I already had it lmao.
Luckily I dit not play it long.I was a gift from a Relative that is not into Gaming.Whiplash on the Other one was great. The Jagfieber one is Okay had my fun with it as a kid.And the Winnie Puh one is the one I got when I entered School, its mostly bad but I played it anyway as I did not know better.

While I don't physically have it anymore, it would have to be the Mega Drive Ren and Stimpy game.
I was gifted that for one of my birthdays when I was little, and basically played it only because I didn't have much else to play back then.

The fact I didn't know the show and thus had zero fondness for the material didn't help, either.

Yeah back than we played what we had, because we did not have much choice.

Steel Battalion OG XBOX. Sometimes I look at this monstrosity and think WTF, but its so G'Damn cool. I had to build a table for the freckin thing.
With the advancement of VR, the time would be ripe for this game to make a resurgence, if you ask me.

Probably these:

Despite thinking Disney can go fuck themselves, I love Goofy unconditionally. This game is crap, but it's goofy so I keep it.

I actually read a bunch of classics cus of this thing so I am not getting rid of it. Actually think the extra features and personality moments are cute, but overall this was a dumb release.

From the top left:
1.) If you know, you know. Bought it not only for science, but to shove it into people's faces saying games are only for kids, not adults. They thought it was the greatest thing ever.
2.) Bought DOA Xtreme, I don't like causes or people telling me I can't play something.
3.) SF The (Van Damme) Movie Fighting game. Got it during PS1 launch, not like there was any other fighting games out. Super Turbo "like" game play....Ummm..... OK......
4.) SFII Movie game. I really liked the anime movie. There's 2 alternate endings on this game.
5.) Got Castlevania Judgement to see how bad it was. Got it dirt cheap, played it, once. It has no right to exist.

I think mine is my double ownership of revenge of the blood Angels:

It is not a bad game by any means, but the story is so fucking funny: I order a copy on Amazon, and it was set to arrive to like 2 week after the purchase.
- The 2 weeks passed by and nothing happened.
- I contacted support one sunday and some guy reassure me that the game will come 72 hours later.
- It did not.
- So I contacted customer support again and their told me "Oh sorry, we will give you back the cost of the product (not the travel or other spending ofc), i refused and demanded my game, but other alternatives were too expensive so they refused.
- I sent an angry email to amazon custom support and all the amazon managers that I could find (big fishes), and then they just give me back all the money + 25 amazon-bucks
- I was defeated, so I just order the game on E-bay (my first purchase there btw)
- It took like a month but the game arrived and worked
- 2 days later, the amazon copy of the game arrived

My pre-ordered steelbook copy of Dissidia NT.

This game is genuinely pure, irredeemable dogshit. Rotten to the core on every single conceivable level, aside from decent character models and a probably alright soundtrack. Every time I have the unpleasant honor of eyeing it on my shelf I let out a sad chuckle, as I wistfully shift my gaze at the immaculate Dissidia 012 PSP box, wondering what could have been if we lived in just a slightly happier timeline...

I'm in camp "doesn't know", but I'd like to!

In terms of stupidest games I still currently own, probably M&M's Shell Shocked for the PSX. It's essentially one giant platformer in a factory, but it goes on.....FOREVER.

And in terms of games I used to own, Tweenies for the PSX was an appallingly bad variety mini-game based on a short-lived 2000's UK children's TV show aimed at kids between 5-10 years old (contrary to what the name would have you believe). The mini-games were bland, and the whole thing could be completed in about 20 minutes.

I also still own 3 Hugo games, and one final honourable mention goes to Atlantis: The Lost Continent.
No, not the tie-in game based on the decent Disney flick, but a stand-alone mini-game collection, similar to the Tweenies, but even more vapid. It consisted of a short animation, a moving puzzle mini-game, and a painting mini-game. Surprisingly, games like this were pretty common back then, and were clearly made as a quick cash grab to profit off of a popular known IP with the same name. I now wish I'd held on to this one though, as for a short while the price of this game sky-rocketed up to around a couple hundred pounds.

B-But it's fully localized in English, French and German! A-And it includes not only cartoon film, but jigsaw puzzle and colouring game also! Surely it must be a hoot and a holler!

Alas, it extracted nary a hoot, holler or hullabaloo from me (until I saw that re-sale price around ~2014!)

All my stuff is PC and digital download now with exception of two hard copy PC titles.

However, I used to say that Athena (SNK)(NES) was the absolute worst game ever made but I have just played Bubsy 3D for the first time via emulator. It has left me wondering if Eidetic, at the time, was a young solo developer as most of us could make a better game, ourselves, nowadays.

I remember having to review this heap o' turds when I was still working in Games Media and I had a fucking awful time.

I'd come in with strong positive memories of both PSP entries and was hyped that the Japanese arcade release was finally hitting western consoles -.- How little I knew.
