I read many threads here about the SEGA console Dreamcast and also on the Internet there are now many rumors about this console but these are only rumors.
I don't think this console will ever come back.
Even the boss of SEGA has rejected a new edition.
But who knows, a console competitor might make the market even more interesting because the Dreamcast already had a lot of fans.
Who knows, anything is possible these days .

Mini consoles are a nostalgic gimmick but nothing could prevent them from making proper modern ports for that console's library.

Seeing how consoles as a whole are going in I'm surprised SEGA hasn't focused on making games for PC then porting to the consoles.

Platstation 2 Won.
Problem Deadcast was thirdparty games support.
Not only Sony investes heavy marketing own IP games, but many third partys into All genres of games SHUMPS, RPG, FTS, RTS, FMV, EYETOY, BACKWARDS PSX, CD,DVD Video/audio, Dolby5.1,Hybrids, Diversity vertality Wins.

Whereelse Segas Deaths only have own limited simple Arcadish games lib. rip history.

Which is a big shame seeing how it managed to do.

It had a great launch, then dropped like a rock when the ps2 was announced. Shame, because it had onlije play long before Sony did.

Why SEGA lost the console wars??? Cause they went FIRST, hardware quickly evolves is bad when your console is outdated by modern standards. Honestly, the true reason the saturn and dreamcast failed was.....SEGA of America. Whoever was running it at the time was a complete moron and every decision they made just made it even worse. The Dreamcast was awesome, but due to 3 things, mostly the pirating glitch that made it easy to hack, It just imploded. Course sega did what they do best....outsource.

Will they make a console comeback...NO!!!! They don't even need to, as long as they keep making somewhat good games....just not Sonic Games.
