Jrose11 and Nuzlocke Joe are two of the most interesting content creators in this segment, if you ask me.

i haven't checked out nuzlocke joe yet. i've mainly been binge listening to jrose11 while doing stuff like drawing, sorting out stuff on my computer and washing the dishes. i'll have to check joe out later and see what he has on his channel.

I'd love to watch a let's play of Pokopia once it comes out.

Welcome to one of the most successful game in the history of gaming !
Pokemon it will soon be retro itself so many editions so many Pokemon generations but what is your story and experience with this game ? Tell your Pokemon story !
Pokemon has basically been something I've known about or been a fan of for as long as I've been alive.
I actually wrote about my own experience with pokemon on my wordpress, but I'll paraphrase it here since it's always nice to reminisce.

I watched the anime a bunch, especially Diamond and Pearl, the only time I ever woke up early in my life on purpose and felt good about it was as a kid when I woke up at 5am to sneak downstairs and watch the pokemon movies I had recorded on the family TV and I'd do that until my parents woke up.
I couldn't afford any of the games initially, so my first game was actually Pokemon Ranger, which I played on my DS. I knew nothing about Gen 3, so I thought all these pokemon only existed for this one entry for a while lol. Eventually though, on my 10th birthday, I got my first mainline game, Pokemon White. Unova is still my favourite generation to this day, and I remember playing so much of it, it's the only one of the games I actually completed. Sadly I never got to experience any of the Mystery gift stuff because I think the game was like a year or so old when I got it, and I couldn't access the internet at that age on my DS.
After that, I got Platinum and Soulsilver, the latter being my 2nd favourite of the games, I loved the little tamagotchi thing that you got with it, and having ur pokemon actually follow you behind you felt so nice! It felt even more like I was on an adventure with something that was both a pet and a friend.

Sadly, I've never been able to properly get into or enjoy the 3D games, the art style of the 2D pokemon, especially Gen 5 was a huge appeal for me, and those games are just, not as nice looking to me. Despite that, it's a franchise that's near and dear to my heart.
