I like the games from Genshin developers, Genshin Impact is good and Honkai: Star Rail is also interesting but that they are now trying to do something that belongs to Nintendo well I have a bad feeling again when you think of Palworld this game is also a big thorn in Nintendo's side. This is a short video about what it is about!

I have little optimism for Pokemon competitors, despite the fact that TPC/GameFreak can't hold their own d*cks straight when it comes to that series.

Even Palword shot itself in the foot (pun intended) with the Survival Gameplay format and guns. I couldn't believe it was serious. We've all joked for decades about 'bro what if you could shoot at Alakazam LOLOL" but they actually did it. It's like someone seriously doing a game where a Mario-like character eats shrooms and gets high.

Not saying all Pokémon-likes should have guns, but having a Pokémon with guns is weirdly appealing for some weirdos like me. At the very least Palworld fully embraced its absurdity, it feels like a Pokémon parody at some points, in a good way.

What made me stop playing the game after a certain point was rather the tiring survival grinding formula.

Despite what I said, I'm hoping that this one will be more faithful to the Pokémon experience.

I mean... Pokemon is just a ripoff of Dragon Quest V. So if anything, it's perfectly fine to ripoff a ripoff.

Besides, Nintendo has only patented the mechanic of catching monsters in balls. The rest can be copied without problem. Just look at Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times. A straight up Animal Crossing ripoff, right down to the artstyle, mechanics, and animalease. AKA, the stuff that isn't copyrightable, but is patentable, but Nintendo didn't patent.

That being said, hopefully they don't go the Palworld route of monster design, and instead make actual original monsters. Because Palworld was clearly just stealing Pokemon designs. If you gave me a quiz to guess whether it's a Palworld creature or a Gen 7/8 Pokemon, chances are, I wouldn't be able to tell which is which.
Meanwhile I can easily distingush between Digimon, Monster Rancher, Dragon Quest, and Shin Megami Tensai creatures, all of which have had games that are more or less Pokemon ripoffs.

Digimon is basically this:

I have absolutely zero faith that this will be any better than anything that Mihoyo has put out in the past. And the xenomorphs disguised as functioning humans being we call "fans" that interact with the property will very, very likely make it just that much more of a waste of time interacting with.

They are making a Pokemon games HELL YEAH sign me up. I played all of mihoyo´s games that are on PC like Star trail, Genshin and ZZZ and they are all great fun games.

I bet this game will be 10 times better than what Game freak has shat out for the past 10 years. I grew up on Pokemon and loved it is a game but honestly it´s been the same boring shit for the past 10 years.

Pokemon
GTA
CoD

All have one thing in common it´s been the same shit for the past 15 or so years with nothing more than slightly better graphics, New charters. And yet it´s the most popular shit ever proving that main stream popularity = millions of people have the same shitty taste. And sadly im been part of that shitty taste.
I used to love CoD and Pokemon but thankfully I found better replacment.

Sadly Killzone is dead :( Stupid Guerrilla Games and their Horizone series.
