The new Shinobi game looks awesome

Should have 3D art by now to stand out, thats inno instead shotty quickchange remakes.
No thanks. 3D isn't the answer for everything.

The respective remake of Wonder Boy The Dragon's Trap looks miles above Monster World IV. Monster Boy looks great as it is.

I tried the demo at an event btw. Sadly I wasn't allowed to take pics nor film it.

It's playing good but feels a lot like a beat'em up.
It's cool that you got to try it.

For me personally, kind of a shame it's more of a beat 'em up. Not really a fan of that genre. Shinobi 2 and 3 definitely had you killing enemies way faster than one generally does in a beat 'em up.

Yeah, it's the first time I've ever tried games before their release (that didn't have demos available freely online).

I wish they would've taken more cues from the 3DS game than making it a beat'em up.

I understand that LizardCube have made SoR 4 (and even planned to include Joe Musashi as a guest character until Sega said "no") yet I feel like they could've done it like Wonderboy: keeping the original feeling while modernising it.

Hopefully the game will still have a good flow.
