Alright Folks. The wrestling community gotta come together because it is criminalizing to not strike down when the iron is hot. There are countless wrestlers out there, past and present, that can talk, that can wrestle, that can connect with the fans, but for whatever reason, because of their size, their wrestling style, their name value, gender, race, whatever!!, bookers, promoters, and even higher-ups tend to overlook these wrestlers in favor of someone who they see as the golden goose, the safe bet, the closes bro or gal to be their yes man instead of building up for the future or a new talent. So tell me, who you consider as underrated? Someone who has the skills to wrestle, cut promos, connect with fans. It can be one, two, or multiple elements, but the point is, these wrestlers never got a fair shake in the business and they do deserve a shot in the big times!

I'm biased since he's one of my favorite.

Seriously though from 1997-2003 masked Kane was awesome. He should've had a proper reign with the world title that was longer than a day. Not to mention he deserved a Royal Rumble win seeing as how synonymous he is with that match. Really annoys me how much they neutered his character as the years went by. He really should've been taken as seriously as The Undertaker. And it might be a hot take but I think he would've been a good choice to break the streak had WWE played their cards right and didn't turn him into that awful corporate character. I know it might not count since he did have a great career at the end of the day but there were a lot of missed opportunities there.

The best wrestler in the world right now is Chad Gable, criminally underrated.

Stardom trainee Yuhi. She was really good for someone who only wrestled as a student before retiring when she graduated high school. Shame that we'll never get to see her match vs. Kana; pretty sure that ZERO-1 never taped it, but there are photos out there.

I think this can be said for a lot of early Stardom trainees, and Arisa Hoshiki is pretty much proof that a career revival of those from that time is completely plausible. I would like Eri Susa to come back, for example.
