"The Missing" missing on PS5 & Xbox Series?

My appreciation for the work of Swery65 has been growing quite a bit lately
So far I've played:
Deadly Premonition
Deadly Premonition 2
D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die

In my research, I've come across a game he directed called "The Missing: JJ Macfield and the Island of Memories". I want to check it out, but I can only really find it on Steam or scalped to oblivion on eBay because Limited Run did the physical release. PS4 & Xbox One are listed on its releases, but I can't find it on either PSN on PS5 or the Microsoft store for X Series.

Anyone have any insight? Was it de-listed at some point, or is it just not backwards compatible/stuck on the PS4/XBONE?

I can't find it on either PSN on PS5

Honestly never used PSN nor any PlayStation since PS2 but it may be logical to think that since it's a PS4 game that doesn't have a PS5 version it wouldn't show up on PS5's PSN?: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0036-CUSA12349_00-0000000000000000

I never used Microsoft and XBOX stuff so IDK if it's even a valid link but it does list XBOX Series.

I guess why they may be missing for you might be regional reason. Naturally some games doesn't show up due to where you are connected to the website like how some games on Steam doesn't show up for me.

Maybe it's only available in the US then? Following those links showed results. I don't live in the US though, and even using my browser for my region's PS & Xbox stores doesn't bring up search results. Which is weird, because I've checked and it is available on my region's Nintendo store for the Switch.

I think it's an issue with where I live. I don't think it's available on PS & Xbox in my country

I consider The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories to be SWERY's most interesting work by far.

It is available on PC, Switch, or PS4. The game should run on most laptops made in the past decade with at least a Core i5 even without a dedicated GPU. Hopefully you have access to one of those platforms.

Well Nintendo is THAT greedy so they wouldn't even care about government rules and whatnot lol.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is a special case. The PS4 version is still available digitally, while they delisted the buggy PS5 port.

Hotel Barcelona is actually one of the few games I've pre-ordered in the last few years. Suda & Swery working on the one game has me especially concerned about how many physical copies are going to be available at release vs ones scalped online!
