This games looks like GRANDAD 7

Although Grand Dad 7 is obviously a bootleg romhack of The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy by FC-NES but starring Mario instead of Fred Flintstone.

It's pretty basic/standard but well made for Taito's standards, good for a casual way to blow one hour... almost.

The first level gives off good Impressions, and while level three Is the only scrolling level I do love that Fred's car shows damage, the foruth can be a bit of a pain and at once point scared me quite a bit as a child when I fell off the train.

But then you get to fifth level and that's when the game takes off It's gloves to make sure you don't beat It on the same weekend you rent It for.

The Great Gazoo killed this series. No, really, it's true: the character was pretty much openly hated, but they wouldn't stop featuring him, so people just stopped watching.

Should get around to playing this. I've beaten both NES games and I really enjoyed them.
