Hey guys, how was Nintendo's first Switch 2 Direct for you? Are you satisfied or disappointed? Tell us what you thought is of Nintendo's biggest Direct?

I'm a little disappointed, I have to say. I really expected more.

Fatal Frame 2 remake is good news, I guess, since the franchise is not forgotten. Though I hate how character models look. Virtual Boy stuff is funny in terms of "who is it for and who asked" but other that that, eh. 10 new Pokemon and Mario games won't make me buy a Switch 2. Not that I have money to buy $80 games anyway.

I thought it was fine. Some things I liked had some sort of catch to them.

Mario Galaxy 2 coming to Switch? can only buy it physically as part of a 2-pack with Galaxy 1, which I already have in that 3D All-Stars collection from a few years ago. It's a bit annoying to have to double up like that, but I guess it's fine if you missed that collection.

New Fire Emblem & Hyrule Warriors? Switch 2 exclusives

Pokemon shilling DLC for Legends Z-A before we even know if the base game will be fun. Nothing new, just tanks my excitement for Z-A a bit.

I think I was genuinely interested in Popucom, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined & Pokopia with little to no complaints.

What they've just announced isn't nearly enough to buy a Switch 2. Let's see how things develop.

Weird , a lot of unnecessary stuff ( the whole Mario segment was painful) but koei and Motoroid prime 4 made it less painful ( re9 and sexo houses 2 helped too)
New FE is the first game that has me considering a Switch 2. I'd need a LOT more than just one game, but it's a start I guess ::sailor-embarrassed

Yeah I still need more bangers to get one ( MP4 is still switch 1 )

Guess the Fatal Frame 2 re-re-make is kind of cool? That's all you'll get from me. ::sailor-embarrassed
No new one but I'll take it

Dragon Quest VII is nice, and I'm sure Powerwash Simulator 2 will be relaxing like the first one. The rest I could go either way on. But I also don't have their hardware, so.
DQ VII & Powerwash 2 will also probably be on other platforms

I know this is a strange criticism, but I cannot get my head around Nintendo's insistence on starting each presentation with an older Nintendo spokesperson in a suit, talking about business ethos, stuff that is insanely boring to kids, and then following it up with the most condescending "little billy's first video game" narrators for the rest of the show....even during adverts for games rated mature! 🤣 So strange.

I mean I went into it with no expectations so I can't really say I'm too disappointed. The Mario stuff at the beginning was just ultimately nothing and really they just wasted like 10 minutes to show the preview for the Mario movie sequel (Don't care). Rest of it was just stuff we already knew was coming out and things I'll probably buy on PC or something if I can. Only real kind of genuine surprise/interesting things was DQ7 remake and Project Zero/Fatal Frame 2 remake.

Overall; still not buying a Switch 2 ::cirnoshrug

I thought it was pretty good. I'm mostly excited for...
• Pokemon Pokopia
• RE9
• Popucom
• Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection
• Fatal Frame 2
• Yoshi and the Mysterious Storybook
• Virtual Boy on Switch Online
• Mario Tennis Fever
• Mario Galaxy Movie

I was a little surprised to see the Mario movie sequel is being based on Galaxy.

I thought it was going to be a completely original story lol.
Yeah, same! The first one didn't feel like it was based on any one particular Mario thing

yeah most of the interesting stuff is multiplat, it's the only reason I bother tuning into these things.
Usually, I (kinda) have the opposite reaction. More like "Nice to see that this will finally be on the Switch as well... despite it either taking too long to port or that it was already available on other platforms."

"who is it for and who asked"
I checked on Reddit, especially the BDSM scene is like this:
