The First Ever Emulator You Remenber

ZSNES was my first emulator and is still my preferred snes emulator.
Normally i don't care, but i'd highly suggest not using ZSNES, ZSNES has a exploit and bugs that allow roms to be infected and essentially do whatever it wants to your computer.

When I was a kid the family computer was a 10 year old mac by the time I was 8 or so. The only interesting thing it could run was snex9. I remember downloading random ROMs from the internet until I found Chrono Trigger and was blown away by it.

For me, it was Meka (the best Sega Master System emulator back in the day).
It ran on DOS, had an amazing and skinnable UI and was just fun and easy to use overall.

My first was some snes emulator that did find cheats inside emulator and i did use it on android phone

I think it was GB or NES but only online Emu, it was something special at that time for me and could not know how is it possible. Wow -Effect

No$ back when it was known as No$gb instead of gba and for the reason one might expect.

to play pokemon because my folks didn't want to get me a Gameboy and pokemon cart at the time.

wanting to play pokemon in some way is what got me into emulation.

Bleem was the first one I remember, followed by P64. I could get neither of them to work, I think though looking back at my more recent experiences, I simply either got a couple of bad roms or had no idea how to properly make disc images (I was 9, and we still had dial up internet).

I think it was either Genecyst and then Snes96/97 (Snes9x's ancestor) on DOS, I probably tried them on the same day. It's crazy that these emulators used to run on a good old Pentium 166.
