I am Excited for Oblivion Remastered,but its not going to be released on Ps4 wich is a Problem for me.And in Regards of Quality of the Game i think its going to be a broken mess from day 1 as it is Bethesda we are Talking about.So it probably needs a couple of updates before it even properly works.Anyhow i only can wait and see how it will turn out anyway.

Well even if the Old Oblivion Graphics are outdated by now,they still have a Certain Charm for me as i really like them for the most part at least.

I wish they could've done to Arena and Daggerfall the same thing that happened to Doom with a "sourceport" that allows higher resolution windows as well as a proper pad support.

Same with Morrowind with a Nightdive-like remaster (keeping the original graphics and art style but refined controls).

They are so scared of male and female. I say if you wanna be inclusive just go with Male/female and Unisex. It´s not that hard I will enjoy the game Because I don´t care about that.

But if they added an NPC that is as shitty and trashy and insufferable as Taash Then yeah I would quit and refund the game. Taash is the definition on how not to make a charter and if you want a good charter that is not 100% straight then you make Astarion.

I honestly expect it to be bad. I was talking with some friends and the sentiment came down to unless they purposefully recreate the older, buggy Gamebryo engine as it was when TESIV came out it's going to be using the current Creation Engine or w/e. And they won't do that.
So it's going to be Fallout4/Skyrim at the core.
I wouldn't be surprised even if they left in things like dual wielding, magic mixing, Perk-Tree leveling, etc. Literally I expect it to be Skyrim but in Cyrodil with remade assets as if you had just modded over the world and characters etc. Like Skyblivion.

What offends me is My god it´s a remake in Unreal Engine 5 Yet all females looks like Men. I hope this game is mod friendly so I can make HOT females which is a crime today apparently.

No one is up in arm´s about it it´s just a stupid pointless thing that added because the DEVS are scared they will be death threats if they inclusive enough. And we know when the devs are scared because some moron on twitter that does not even play games gets up set for not being included we know they don´t care about quality of the game and they care more of the opinion of a moron.

I've got Skyrim VR installed offline for the mod. Just like with Fallout London, they always "update" their old game before a big mod launch to put sticks in wheels of the modders and make some money on the Bethesda fans and their crave for Horse Armors.

Oblivion was not even that good to begin with. Modders will make it right with Skyblivion.

I've also bookmarked an old build of Starfield that would allow modding for VR, but I'm so uninsterested by modern day Bethesda that I didnt take the time to install it.

Yeah tell that to Failguard, Concord, The cared more about being inclusive than making good games and look what it got them one of them gone after 12 days which took them over eight years to develop.
The other game sold porly to the point loads of people got fired.

And who did the media attack for the failure of the games well the gamer´s was to blame.

It´s not about it saying body type A or B it´s a sign that quality may not be there.

I mean look at BG3 it manage to be inclusive and open about all kinds of sexuality and such and yet being loved as hell because they are not preaching to you they are not looking down on you and they quality of the writing did not suffer. I love BG3 because even being inclusive they never left quality suffer and never insult the player

And well so far this is Oblivion but some how in a remake the manage to make all females look like men and men look like crack addicts.

For the first time ever im playing Argonian as my first charter because the Nords I often pick are original Oblivion bad. And this is unreal 5 ??? It´s sad I can make a better looking charter in a game that came out 2011 but not in a remake.

But it´s typical western companies hot charters equals sexism and only for Gooners.

I do hope this game will be mod friendly so we can get some new skin and face texture to make hot charters.

But as I state again it´s not about body A or B it´s about we known it´s often a sign of butchering a game.

Bethesda's NPCs always looked like shit. They cant make RPGs with realistic talking heads or bodies. They never did and never will. If you found some NPC attractive in past Bethesda's game it's just because you were a horny teen playing with mods back then.

It's Oblivion but better looking and slightly better feeling.
I see this as an absolute win, because the original is one of the few cases where it was too janky for me to go back to and enjoy (I've played it for a billion hours though). Glad you can choose any attribute to increase whenever you level up, that shit was a giga fun-killer for me originally. Only done one quest so far (the first part of the Orrery) but I'm having fun.

Good point. Not only from the "I don't want to play an old game" view but also the actual "I can't get this old game to run." view.
Though really, that's an issue that shouldn't be an issue in the first place and it probably shouldn't be solved by selling it again but by fixing the first release but-

For what it's worth you can get a month of gamepass and try it out.
Though I guess it wouldn't share saves or achievements etc since it's not the steam version, if that's a thing that matters.

Wait for them to get past the polished two hours experience of Bethesda making sure they dont refund, and then have a savefile bloated with bugs preventing them to complete the game past the ten hour mark.
