What do you guys think about Oblivion Remastered it's going to be good or it's going to be bad?

Oblivion is like one of only three WRPGs I played and enjoyed. The other two being Morrowind and Witcher 3.

Yeah, it was. It's basically the same situation as with NG2 Black that has 90GB compared to around 5GB of original

Even if Oblivion is objectively janky this is still a relatively modern game in many ways.

An HD port on current gen and last gen consoles would've sufficed.

Will it play more like Skyrim in the Oblivion map?
What Engine is it using? Will load times be faster that Oblivion?
Is the code more optimized for a better experience?

im kind of excited for it, depending on price. I think, however, i'll wait for the skyblivion mod to release instead. mostly because it's free and more likely to get love from the developers.

As a hat tip to their previous blunder, the game should use the mouse feature on the Switch 2 to put on the DLC horse armor.

Haven’t played Oblivion, but I’ve seen plenty of the jank. Something a bit more polished would be appreciated these days. As long as they don’t remove the original, I’ll welcome the remake with open arms. God knows BGS needs something to wash the taste of Starfield out of everyone’s mouths.

Just like any Bethesda game they are good but works poorly. Like name one fallout of elder scrolls game has not been fixed by moders becuse how broken it is.

I will buy and play their version and I will play skyblivion when it comes out 2050.

So I say instead of asking will it be good or bad just play it and find out if it sucks refund if you can´t afford it join the high seas.

Just play the games you think you should enjoy who give a crap if other thing it sucks.

I'm definitely going to try it out, because I like Oblivion, but I've played the original to smithereens so much that I have zero desire to ever go back to it (aminly due to goofy design), but trying it out with a fresh coat of paint will be interesting.

I'm looking forward so Skyblivion even more though, but they can co-exist. Oblivion fans are definitely in for a treat.

Can't wait to murder all of the dark brotherhood in HD! The game looks great, I do wish they'd remake morrowind but I'll just have to wait another 5+ years for Skywind.
