Imagine driving on the road, with your wife and kids, enjoying the road trip. But then all of a sudden, you hear a monstrous V8 engine wailing, and a even more monstrous horn beeping behind you; you look in the mirror and see this. Now, you & your family are on a road trip to heaven.

At long last, I finally watched "The Car". It was on tv earlier during the Svengoolie block, so naturally, I decided to check it out after seeing clips of it online. Its certainly a movie of all time. All jokes aside, I actually liked it. For what it is, I liked it. Simple premise, a solid cast & a car you wish don't want to see in your rear view, or crashing through your kitchen.

definitely saw it a long time ago but i mostly forget it , they made a sequel in 2019....

(said to be not very good)

why don't they do more with this idea - killer KARR's are awesome

This week I've resumed a dvd of "The best of knight rider" with six episodes and the first episode with KARR is there!
I never heard of the movie quoted in the first post, though, I'll take a look.

edit: I've looked on wikipedia for "The car" plot, don't think I'm going to watch it I'll stick with Knight Rider and the "gentlecar" Kitt.
