We really should have a thread for this in my opinion. I'm actually not super knowledgeable about fan made games (one of the reasons I made this thread) but there are a few that I have played and really like

Migami Games has some goofy-looking art, but they make some really solid and interesting Castlevania fangames (and clones). The Lecarde Chronicles 2, in particular, has a pretty mind blowing moment that turns the whole game on its head. Highly recommended if you're a fan.

Had never heard of this one before - the visuals make it look kinda like an in-between of Haunted Castle and Super Castlevania IV to me. Thanks for bringing it up, I'll check it out later!
(That AI art really is kinda icky though)

At first I hated it, but now I just can't go back to Mario Kart, so glad Sonic Racing CrossWorlds has mechanical depth as well, Sonic racing games should always follow this path imo, it fits with the franchise.
