The Beard Question

Gentleman its time to discuss the question plaguing Gentleman around the world for millennia....beard or no beard.
Anyway so what do you prefer do you shave your beard completely or do you keep a beard and if what kind of beard do you keep.
This thread of course is also open to the Ladies on the forum as we don't want to discriminate here so for the ladies do you like your Man with or without a beard and if what kind of beard do you prefer on your Man.

Some beards are shown here and of course there exist more.
I for myself a more of a Sideburns guy I know I am old fashioned but hey its my style and I am rocking it

I do not use a Barber Shop and go mostly with guts feelings by shaving my beard in into the style I want not that I would have a choice anyway as far as I am aware there are not barber shops in my area.
Also I do feel Discriminated in most Characters creators as Sideburns are not a option so If I wanted to create me I would have to either completely shaven or chose a different beard.

And I do have Sideburns normally but most of the time I am lazy and I have a unstructured and unshaven mess of a beard Imagine 1 to two weeks not shaving your beard that is most of the time me. I hate my lazy butt as shaving after 1 to two weeks is heel and takes forever and most of the time its not even that good afterwards meaning I have no smooth face but still a scratchy one.

I prefer to stay clean shaven, but my facial hair tends to grow faster then I'd like, so I often keep a stubble/long stubble beard.

Nature is a really funny thing if you did not want a beard it would grow like grass and if you want a beard you would be smooth like the day you where born.
Happens to many times. I myself tried a Mustache and it barely grew in the Middle which looked weird and so I shaved it. And besides I prefer my Sideburns anyway luckily.

;) but its difficult to keep them looking good as they need to be the same height and not be to bushy.

I used to rock the chinstrap for awhile when I was just finishing up high school and a little bit after, then switched to a goatee without the mustache which was the oddest decision I made regarding my facial hair, then eventually I just said fuck it and now rock a lazy full beard with a shitty mustache as I can only grow a pretty thin one. I don't go super long on it though. I will never shave my beard off, I've actually turned down a job once since it meant I'd have to go entirely clean shaven.

I'm a mustache main, so I can't answer this!!!

My mustache grows really well and is as full as my eyebrows (which I think is my best looking feature) but my beard is way patchier so it's always secondary.
If I grow my beard out, I never let it connect to the mustache and always trim that area down, which turns it into a kind of Balbo beard, I think it's called?

I'm one of those guys who can barely grow any facial hair, so I usually tend to just stay clean shaven which isn't bad for me since I've never really been into having a beard or anything like that to begin with. What little facial hair I can get though usually tends to come in tri-colour as well. I get blonde, red and brown hair coming out, it's a mess lol.

I think I'm just the type to prefer them neatly trimmed or full shaven as possible. Stubble isn't a turn off it's length that does. Just because I would trust Santa Claus doesn't mean I'm kissing him. No solo mustache (solo goatee is okay though), no tiny strip under the lip, and no sideburns either, if you're gonna grow, grow it all and trim it neat.

I hate having anything other than heavy stubble of clean shaven. I hate the feeling of when it gets too heavy, like there's an annoying obnoxious aura around the lower half of my face.

They look great on some guys, a beard can really add to some men's faces but not so much to mine.

always short goatee when shaved, then white and black medium beard in around a week; curiously it does remain at that level for a couple of months, never grows more than that

Maybe it's because I've been shaving my whole life but whenever I get even just a bit of stubble my chin gets incredibly itchy. A very annoying sensation! So I gotta shave like every 4-5 days.
I think I look better without facial hair anyway so I don't really have any complaints apart from how fast it grows, you'd think my body would learn.

I think I look better without facial hair anyway so I don't really have any complaints apart from how fast it grows, you'd think my body would learn.

Who know it doesn''t for me at least well it stops to itch but every time I shave and let it regrow it starts to itch again but otherwise its fine but it feels very bad for if I let it grew to much it lets me feel dirty and like a homeless person.But that is just how i look after weeks of not shaving.
