The backlog

I do have like a big backlog of games But I just focus on what games I'm down on playing long-term like any other RPG out there or games I know that won't take too long like a platformer. I have slowed my backlog increase thankfully but it's still a big one nonetheless.

::lurkingyou're not allowed, so stop it

As for my backlog, I'm old so it's gigantic with things I've picked up and forgotten about or just never clicked with me and I will return at some point. But once I have it, I have it, so I don't stress about it. As far as what's keeping me from getting to it, I just moved 1200 miles and am trying to sort out my dad's affairs and maybe I'm keeping this house and maybe I'm not, so figuring out a lot of life stuff and a ton of cleaning/repairing/etc.

I'm still making time to play some, but there's no one else here to help me do this stuff, so I can't just sink 12 hours a day into a game right now. But eventually!

being an rpg fan sucks sometimes cause the games can take up to 80 hours and you can only play a few hours every week.
i remember taking like 5 months to beat resonance of fate. i still enjoyed it a lot i fucking love the game but i didnt play anything else for those 5 months because every time i had a few hours to play i just used them to make small progress sessions.

(i still do this)
((i will always defend the long games club))

I love RPGs, but yeah, sometimes they can take a while to finish, even if you know what you're doing @w@
Take Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth for example, my first playthrough (the Vita version) took 100 hours, my second playthrough (the PC version) took 70.

But honestly, I think the worst case of "I TOOK WAY TOO LONG TO FINISH THIS GAME" was Final Fantasy Dimensions, I actually played it on my Vita and it took like, almost a year for me to finish that game! It's not that long, but it still took a while because of other things in my life getting in the way of my playthrough ç.ç

Btw Final Fantasy Dimensions is amazing, I love it, and I wish Square released it on PCs.

(I will always defend the long games club too xD)

Constantly, I'm forever grateful for web places like this but it just makes me keeping on adding games to my backlog lol
I use a Excel sheet myself, it's might useful to remember which games I played, which games I dropped, and which hacks/mods I already played. Just keeping the list organized makes me happy xD

black mesa is great
killer is dead is great

what are you currently playing?
Finished Citizen Sleeper 2 recently, I'll probably be working on finishing Phantom Doctrine next, but most of my gaming time has turned into translation time recently. I'll see if I can keep up the pace and motivation haha
