Next to Halloween and Christmas that have games based around those holidays. Thanksgiving has a handful of games around the holiday. So, here's few games that fits for Thanksgiving.
Panic Restaurant.
Don't let the creepy Taito artwork fool you, but the game itself is a good side scroller. You take control of a Chef named Chef Cookie who's restaurant is taken over by a Waluigi type chef named Ohdove and his mutant food from walking turkeys, carrot girls, to frying pans that burn kettle popcorn. Chef Cookie must go through six rooms of his restaurant from the kitchen, dining room and the freezer. The difficulty ranges from fair to hard. Panic Restaurant is one of the best Thanksgiving games to play on NES.
Turkey Shoot
Can't have Thanksgiving without Turkey. This is one of the most bizarre games from the arcade developed and manufactured by Williams, where get this, half of the world has transformed into mutant turkeys trying to take over urban towns. It's up to the Turkey Terminator to destroy all the turkeys and save humanity. So this game is similar to Terminator 2: The Arcade game, where you use a gun type controller to blast all the mutant turkeys from heists, thefts and invasions to earn points. That's basically it. It's an arcade game from the 80s that needs no introduction and also the weirdest Thanksgiving games that no one heard about.
Kirby's Dream Buffet
Thanksgiving is mostly a buffet of delicious meals. And Kirby's Dream Buffet fits perfectly. A light version of Fall Guys with different colored Kirbys gobbling up all the food and reach the goal to be top contender. Silly, and fun at the same time, Dream Buffet will make your mouth watering with those delicious food and desserts.
Any other Thanksgiving games I missed? Let me know in the comments below.
