I recently played a choose your own adventure text game for android called Magium and it is AMAZING if you havent tried anything similar i highly recomend that you guys try it out but what i wanted to know is how popular this genre is among you and if you have anymore recomendentions for me to check out.

There are loads of great games that rely completely on text alone.

A Dark Room is great on Android or pretty much any browser.

You can check out the Zork series if you're into the classics, but there are even text adventures based on the Hitchhiker's Guide and Lord of the Rings, though they can be of middling quality. (more LOTR than Hitchiker's tbh)

Pretty sure that the genre is alive and well with sites like textadventures.co.uk still having active communities of people making new games and playing them too.
