As a curious fact, this Tetris game unintentionally introduced the Big Drop Mechanic although in this one you pressed 🅰️ while in future games like Mega Drive's Tetris (1989, MD) it also had that mechanic of Big Drop (Hard Drop) although in The New Tetris Game Appearance (N64, 1999) it was standardized The control scheme ⬆️ and popularized by the Big Drop Mechanic Simply by pressing ⬆️ to drop a piece at once.
"A" to fast drop is SO counterintuitive. I played for 10 minutes and was still accidentally dropping some pieces.
