The game lets players step into the shoes of legendary heroes Sarah Connor and the T-800 as they battle to escape the relentless T-1000, one of cinema's deadliest killers. Future War missions place players in control of Resistance leader John Connor as he takes the fight directly to Skynet in the War Against the Machines.

Is it a Contra-like, or a Metroidvania? Also is there any Terminator game that is decent? The new-ish is said to be ok. And heard good things about the old Bethesda one.

It looks like a Contra game with some Final Fight thrown in along with some mini game sequences...

People say it's cheap but short. The animation looks good and maybe it'll actually work on my archaic laptop. I don't mind short NES/SNES types if it's something I'm going to enjoy replaying like I do with my old favorites.

Was watching someone stream this yesterday, looks really good. I didn't know they where going to do a retro release as well. Maybe I'll just wait for that. I assume it's coming to Mega Drive?

Indie - Terminator 2: No Fate

Haven't had a chance to play through the whole thing yet, but from what I've experienced, it's good. Similar to Huntdown, another indie game that came out a few years back. 2D run and gun/beat em up hybrid. Vast majority of the game you play as Sarah Conner with T-1000/Adult John Connor serving...

Can confirm, Terminator 2D is out and is a fun game. I have it on my Bazzite system. It's kind of easy but still fun. Sort of like Metal Slug, but without saving the soldiers.
