I started playing this and it's pretty fun. It feels like a turtles game with goofy stuff like knocking foot soldiers off buildings, knocking enemies into each other (like South Park: The Fractured but Whole), cars driving by on random turns and running over your enemies, floors dropping off and killing any enemies standing on them, etc. I played a level with Mikey and one with Raph and I like how different their abilities are. Raph is very offensively oriented and aggressive for example. Mikey is good at maneuvering around and can juggle enemies. The music is pretty dope too.

This is a lot more fun than Metal Slug Tactics. Like a LOT more fun.

I just finished the SNES port of the original konami TMNT...super awesome as it doesn't flicker or have any nes issues. The half GIG file size is tough, but the cd music quality rocks especially for that games soundtrack.

Also hope they make a sequel to the shredders revenge, come on NICKELODEON

There's a lot of turtles games coming out lately.

Tactical Takedown feels like it's actually modeled after the arcade games. You are actually moving through a level and the game punishes you for staying in one area for too long. You get the classic "Go!" message when it wants you to move forward. Metal Slug Tactics modeled itself on this idea of constant motion, but this game does it in a smarter way. You also have actual lives which I've never seen in a tactics game, though I just restart the stage if I die because I'm trying to get the high scores on each level.

Let's all just be thankful, that the TMNT franchise is being handled by good developers this time and not Activision and Ubisoft.

Definitely gonna have to give this a try, seems right up my alley. TMNT game fans been eating good these past few years, it seems.

I just finished a stage where I was playing as Michelangelo and an old lady with a rifle helped me take out foot soldiers and build up combos LOL.

This game is great.
