Tbh ik i m not the only one but do u too play games abruptly?

Of course. I don't have to play all the games in order. I just play what I like.

I play what I feel to play, if there's a chronological order but I don't want to follow it, I won't.

Mostly, since sometimes i don't have acess to the prequel because is on a platform which i don't have access for but the sequel/spin-off yes

Who cares about order? i begun SMT via playing Strange Journey and the next one was SMT 2, in fact, if you want to introduce someone to a series, maybe mandatorily telling them to play the first one is a bad idea since they aren't exactly polished comprared to the sequels

Played Armored Core 6 before any of the others, then Last Raven without any context, then I touched AC4 a little bit.
I've only beaten one of them (take a guess and earn a cookie)

It can be very fun to play a sequel before the prequel and try to glean what happened in the previous game from context clues. It's like putting together a little narrative puzzle while still going through the normal story. Adds a lot of depth at times, and a lot of headaches in others.
