Hey hey. I thought I'd throw together one of these threads to share stories you've had from your table. It could've been a glorious victory to resound through the ages. A funny mishap that completely threw everything into disarray. Or maybe even the GM making you really "be careful what you wish for" in the future. Feel free to share your intriguing, funny or inspiring tabletop stories.

The only time I've played any form of DnD was a licensed My Little Pony tabletop RPG with 4 friends many years ago.

We must've played it for a good 6-7 hours and it was so much fun! We absolutely frustrated the GM though, because we were all too dumb to realize that a game based on a children's show was trying to get us to work together and solve problems as a group. Instead, we thought it'd be more efficient if we split up to solve those problems individually.

Good times!

Oh man, Spoony. Yeah, I feel like for me (and many others) hearing his stories was my first piece of tinder for wanting to get into tabletop. It didn't matter if his stories were true or accurate or not really. I feel like I also remember him scrolling through a few of the books and talking about them, which was my first exposure to even knowing those sorts of table games existed. Sure, I knew Yu-gi-oh, Pokemon Trading Cards and very limited choose your own adventure novels, but full on books you could play games with? It made me wish one fell on my lap as a kid, even if my friends would've been real pieces of garbage for me trying to pitch them on it.
