I can't believe i had to say this, but I'm a massive Tactical RPG rider, like I could say I've played every game of this genre at this point. Now send thoughts and recommendations. Yes, this is a threat (i prefer being recommended games from psp and gba)

played this before, personally think this dont get mentioned often because of the long animations (even with fast forward on emulators, my patience can't just do it), good storyline, just the long animations dont cut it for me.

Here is one gem that I recently discovered. I am having a blast with Langrisser II on genesis. Do you like the FE games? It's kind of like those, but no perma death (always makes me sad in a srpgs) and I I think it is cute when the armies battle with each other :3 Soundtrack is also a banger!

i have yet to try ragnarok tactics rn, the screenshots on the game looks promising, and the other games here, i havent tried yet, so i say thank you for this

There's two I always recommend to people. First one is Enemy, plays kinda like a voxelly xcom with video game genre theming and difficulty options that let you turn it into a roguelike, lets you pull some really fun stupid strategies like picking a door up off its hinges and throwing it mario 2 style through a castle wall. Other one is Tenderfoot Tactics, its combat is VERY similar to final fantasy tactics, from the way the grid works down to the job system, but it also has an open world to explore with different maps to find that indicate different landmarks and need to be compared since no one can agree which way is north and some only show small parts of the world. Also you play as a tribe of goblins
